Center Nysier Brooks entered the transfer portal a few weeks back and now has chosen the Miami Hurricanes to finish his last year of eligibility. The 6’11” senior will have to sit out next season unless he is granted a waiver from the NCAA.
He averaged 8.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game during his junior year. The Philadelphia native showed a vast improvement last season, during the season at times he was a solid force on the offensive end and when he could stay out of foul trouble he made a huge difference in the paint.
Good luck to Nysier in Miami, now the Bearcats must fill his void.
