So the Cincinnati Bearcats were picked to finish behind the UCF Knights in the East and have the second best chance to win the title game. I don’t know if I’m being biased or not, but injuries to McKenzie Milton and Darriel Mack Jr have them both out for the season I’m guessing the voters are all in on Brandon Wimbush who has big game experience with Notre Dame.
Let’s hope the Bearcats prove the voters wrong and outperform everybody in the American Athletic Conference this year.
Per GoBearcats:
The Bearcats were second in both the AAC East Division and the overall conference title, sitting behind UCF in both rankings. UC received 157 votes in the east with 11 first-place selections and eight votes to win the overall league title.
UCF (19 first-place votes) led the way in the east division selection with 169 votes, followed by UC (11/157), USF (107), Temple (101), ECU (66) and UConn (30). Memphis (15/165) was the west division choice, followed closely by Houston (14/162), Tulane (108), SMU (1/87), Navy (70) and Tulsa (38).
UCF (12), the Bearcats (8), Memphis (6) and Houston (4) all received votes to win the overall conference title.
