First, I want to say my guy Don Hancock tried to tell me that Manny Pacquiao was going to fight up to the competition and beat Keith Thurman. I’m not going to lie I thought Thurman was going to beat the 40 year old Pacquiao, but Pac Man wasn’t having it on Saturday night.

This was a real good fight, Pacquiao used his footwork and angles to confuse Thurman during the fight. The first round knockdown was a shocker, while it seemed to be a flash that set combination was prominent all night. Thurman dusted himself off and when he came forward was the more effective fighter, but his punches even when flush didn’t have the same effect on Pacquiao. Pacquiao’s punches did more visible damage, just go look at that monster body shot landed in the 10th round. I think barring the knockdown the fight would’ve been a draw personally.
With the WBA Welterweight Title in tack Pac Man is a main target for the young lions in the division. Who should be next for Pacquiao and Thurman?
