Cincinnati Bearcats junior punter James Smith was named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List today. Smith was a finalist during his sophomore season. It is a known fact that he is one of the best punters in the country and will have a strong chance to be a finalist this season as well.
The junior averaged 46.6 yards per punt, on 59 attempts 25 were inside the 20 yard line and only one touchback last season.
