The season starts next Thursday for James Smith and the Cincinnati Bearcats, but today Smith added more preseason accolades as Sports Illustrated tabbed him to be 2nd team All-American.

Smith was a finalist for the Ray Guy Award last season and I wouldn’t be shocked if he was at least a finalist this season.
