J.T.’s defensive game balls for UCLA win

Ja’von Hicks, safety

All eyes were on sophomore safety Ja’von Hicks, the local product had big shoes to fill in his first start that had a big pass interference call and a couple other mishaps, but the young man stayed at it with a tackle, a fumble recovery and an interception. He also received the game ball from the team and he’s receiving it from me also. Hicks will only get more comfortable with each snap.

  1. Defense was very impressive. Wiggins out. First game of the season. Saving some things for O$U (I’m sure of it) next week. Love what we’re cooking up in Clifton. Also nice to see all of the local kids out there flying around making stuff happen. High school football in the Cincinnati area takes a back seat to none. Go Bearcats!
