J.T.’s offensive game balls for UCLA win

Josiah Deguara, tight end

Deguara scored the Bearcats first points of the season a 16 yard reception, but late in the second quarter he prevented a pick six as he ran down Jay Shaw to help his team from going down heading into the 3rd quarter. That play is why he is the offensive player of the game in my eyes. The senior finished with four catches (team high) for 53 yards and a touchdown.

  1. Good call on the play by Deguara. Huge! My kudos as well to the Oline. I’m calling Metz a high draft pick in the near future if he progresses as I expect him to.
