The No. 25 Cincinnati Bearcats went down to Houston, Texas and handled business moving to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the AAC. It was an interesting day for the defense as they gave up 424 total yards, but caused five turnovers. They held the Cougars to 5-of-15 on third down, but gave up 2-of-3 on fourth down. It wasn’t pretty, but they avoided trap game failure.
