WBB: Bearcats Miller tabbed for AAC Weekly Honor Roll

Senior guard Antoinette Miller earned the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her play last week. The Bearcats went 1-1 and Miller averaged 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 4.0 steals. They lost to UConn on the road, but had a great come from behind win against USF.

Congrats to Antoinette!

Per GoBearcats:

University of Cincinnati senior guard Antoinette Miller (Detroit, Mich./Southfield-Lathrup) has been selected to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday afternoon. Miller played a large roll in helping the Bearcats claim a come-from-behind victory over visiting USF Sunday afternoon (60-55) to move into a tie for third in the AAC standings.

Miller posted back-to-back games of double-digit scoring last week as she tallied a team-high 19 points on the road at UConn before adding another 14 at home in the win over the Bulls. Trailing by nine at halftime Sunday, Miller came out with the hot hand and scored 10 of her 14 points in the third quarter to help cut that lead to just five heading into the fourth.

Miller, who also averaged 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 4.0 steals per game last week, collected her second Honor Roll selection of the season after she was named to the list November 11 following a two-game stretch in which she averaged 21.0 points, 4.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per contest as UC went 1-1.
