I get to talk about the NBA Trade Deadline today because the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves made a deal that included former Bearcat Jacob Evans. D’Angelo Russell and Andrew Wiggins are the key pieces in this blockbuster trade.
Golden State has agreed to trade D'Angelo Russell to Minnesota for a deal that includes Andrew Wiggins, a 2021 protected first-round pick and a 2022 second-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Warriors will send Jacob Evans and Omari Spellman to Timberwolves too.

Evans is currently averaging 4.7 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists. Hopefully the second year guard can find more traction in Minnesota.
Good luck in Minnesota, Jacob!
