Cincinnati Bearcats cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens is heading to South Bend, Indiana to become the defensive backs coach for Notre Dame. Mickens has been cornerback coach the last two seasons.
Mickens has helped with the development of Ahmad Gardner and Coby Bryant, amongst others. The former cornerbacks coach leads the program in interceptions with 14. He will rejoin his former head coach Brian Kelly.
