Senior Appreciation: Chris McNeal

Height: 6’1”

Weight: 190

Hometown: Jackson, Tenn

Chris McNeal will play his last home game on Saturday as Cincinnati will take on Temple. The graduate transfer has only played one season, but he has helped ease the pain of losing point guards Justin Jenifer and Cane Broome to graduation and Logan Johnson due to transfer portal.

He started the season as a starter, but was supplanted by freshman Mika Adams-Woods. Most seniors may have complained, but McNeal stayed ready and it showed up in the most recent game against USF on Tuesday where he scored six points and played amazing defense in a game UC had to have. The senior is a gritty player and his defensive presence has been great this season.

Congrats to Chris, hopefully he gets a great send off on Saturday. We wish him the best after he’s done at UC.

UC stats:

29 games (10 starts), 28.7% from the field, 2.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and .6 steals
