JS: What about the UC offers excites you and what about there program excites you?
GW: It excited me because they’ve been recruiting me for a while and I have a good pretty good relationship with the coaching staff. I really love the way they play, I think I fit in extremely well in their system.
JS: How do you help a team? What in your game stands out or you would you say is the best part of your game?
GW: I’m a skilled big that can play with my back to the basket and I also have some perimeter skills. I would say my versatility is the best part of my game.
JS: What are you looking for from a program during the recruiting process?
GW: A program that can develop me as a player and also a playing style that compliments my game.
JS: Have you gone to any camps for basketball either this year or last year and if so which ones?
GW: Just the NCAA Basketball Academy in Illinois
JS: Do you have a favorite NBA player or a maybe not NBA, but a player that you enjoyed watching or were inspired by?
GW: Nikola Jokic!
JS: Why did you choose Nikola Jokic?
GW: I enjoy his skill set and how he plays.
JS: Gotcha gotcha, do you have a preference on if a coach is offensive-minded or defensive-minded?
GW: I think that a mix of the two. I don’t prefer one playing style.
JS: What are your goals in life?
GW: My goal is to play in the NBA. I would also like to be a coach one day!
