TFON talks to 3 star WR Tyrell Henry about his UC offer

JS: How does it feel to be in the recruiting process? And how does it feel to get an offer from the University of Cincinnati?

TH: I’m just getting started, but so far it has been fun being involved in the process looking at different schools talking to different coaches it’s great, and I am very happy to have received an offer from Cincinnati, great feeling.

JS: What do you think you can bring to the field and what can you do to help a football program?

TH: I can bring anything a team needs honestly offensive spark, defensive plays, special teams, anything a coach would want plus I work very hard and won’t quit ever on anything.

JS: What does the game of football mean to you?

TH: Football is everything to me I’ve been playing since I was 6 and never looked back football is the greatest sport in America and my love for football goes deep as ever.

JS: How was your sophomore year experience and what are some things you can take away from it?

TH: Sophomore year taught me to grow up really fast, we had some struggles, I was the captain so I learned to lead my team and become a better teammate. I loved every step of it I wouldn’t trade the year.

JS: That’s a great answer your coached messaged right away when I messaged you he seemed very confident in you and the person you are, describe your relationship with your head coach.

TH: I love him couldn’t ask for a better coach. He stays on me and all of our team helping us be the best we can be. He makes sure we handle business in the classroom as well.

JS: What are you looking for in a college program or team?

TH: I want a program that wants me, have a good relationship with team and coaches.

JS: What about the University of Cincinnati program is exciting to you?

TH: Coaches are cool, they’ve produced has produced some good talent and the school is very nice.

JS: What do you do to prepare for a game?

TH: Honestly all I do is just visualize what I’m going to do and long story short I go do it.

JS: What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

TH: Nothing is given the best piece of advice I’ve received, because if you work for everything you want you will get it.

JS: That’s a great piece of advice what are your goals for the upcoming football season?

TH: All state!!! etc but over everything I could get myself I want a championship for Roseville honestly and have 2 more years to get it!

JS: What is your end goal in life?

TH: To be successful and success has different levels, but I want to make a better life for my children in the future and I want to be someone that people can look up too.
