JS: How does it feel to get an offer from the University of Cincinnati?
AW: It feels great, Coach (Perry) Eliano is a cool guy and Cincinnati fits my type of playing style.
JS: Describe what football means to you and how it feels to be on the field?
AW: Football means a lot to me! I’ve been playing since I was 6 years old it’s really everything to me and when I’m on the field I just get a rush of excitement because I’m doing something I love so much. I just want to go out there and give it my all.
JS: What are you looking for in a program or a team during the recruiting process?
AW: I’m looking for a program that fits me the best in my style of play, how the coaches view me as a person, the education, the dorms, and how coaches treat their players.
JS: How would you describe your game and what you can bring to the field?
AW: My game is simple really my catching ability is second to none. I’m a very good route runner and possess decent speed. I need to work on many things, but the main thing I’m focused on is my speed.
JS: If you had to pick a walkout song to come into the field too what would it be?
AW: Lil Baby – Same Thing
JS: Great choice, do you have a favorite NFL player and if you do why?
AW: I know he just came in the league, but Jerry Jeudy because his routes are just so smooth and he has great hands everything he does I try to do.
JS: Being a freshman you can learn a lot from the upper classmen what have you learned in your younger years of football?
AW: I’ve learned to stay humble, always grind, never stop grinding and hard work pays off.
JS: What are your goals in the next couple of years in high school before the next level? What would you like to accomplish?
AW: I would like to break whoever has the most receiving yards record in Florida’s record that’s the one goal in mind.
JS: What is another things do you enjoy doing outside of football?
AW: Playing video games (Fortnite) and pick up basketball.
JS: When all this Coronavirus stiff is done do you plan on trying to get any camps or have any future plans for what you want to do this upcoming football year?
AW: Yes sir, I was going to go on a bus tour to many different schools and work out at some, but Covid-19 messed it up. (haha)
