Arkansas Razorbacks wide receiver Jordan Jones will be transferring to the University of Cincinnati. Jones won’t have to sit out because he will be a graduate transfer. As a redshirt freshman Jones started six games and was third on the team in receptions and yards with 21 receptions and 401 yards, he also had two touchdowns during his redshirt freshman season. He played in all 12 games as a redshirt sophomore, but didn’t play due to an ankle injury his junior season. Jones will have two years of eligibility left when he arrives on campus.

Jones has a connection with running backs coach Dan Enos, who was his offensive coordinator at Arkansas during his redshirt and redshirt freshman season. With a connection to Enos we asked did that play a major factor into him becoming a Bearcat. “Enos, from the day he left Miami told me wherever he landed that he would bring me with him if I wanted to come and that’s exactly what he did. He is a great coach, but more importantly I can talk to him man to man about anything, he believes in me and that is huge for me, I’ll run through a wall for coach Enos.” stated Jones.
The 6’1″, 185 pound receiver from Smackover, Arkansas is the second receiver to transfer into the program this offseason. Jones will have a chance to help this passing game pick up some steam, along with the others left in the receiver room.
Congrats to Jordan, TFON looks forward to covering him during his time in Cincinnati.
