JS: How do you feel about this offer and what the UC football program brings?
CB: I really appreciate this offer a lot! I see they just had an running back that just got drafted.
JS: During the pandemic what have you been doing to try to stay fit and ready for if and when football starts?
CB: I have been working out in an open field!
JS: Coming off your freshman year what have you been able to learn from the upperclassmen?
CB: I was behind one of the best backs in the country in my opinion, but I learned how to lower my pad level and those 5-yard carries eventually turn into 20 and 30 yard big runs.
JS: Being a running back there is a lot to go into your game what do you feel that you can improve on in your sophomore year?
CB: Pass blocking and just letting the game come to me.
JS: What can you bring into the field and to a team?
CB: Energy and just being able to adapt to the game.
JS: What are you looking for from a football program in the future? When you eventually get closer to the next level what is an important thing for a football program to have for you?
CB: Well, I definitely want to get the chance to play early, I’m close with my dad so I have to feel the coaching staff cares about me off the field as well. I want a program that wants to win and when I decide what I want to major in that will be a big deciding factor.
JS: Tell me what the game of football means to you?
CB: The game of football means the world to me it’s something that I want to do for the rest of my life.
JS: What do you look for from a coaching staff standpoint?
CB: A coaching staff who on the same page, work together and even help with things outside of football.
JS: Do you have a favorite NFL running back? If so ,why did you choose them?
CB: Dalvin Cook and LeVeon Bell, Bell because he has patience, Cook because he is explosive and my dad showed me some Eric Dickerson highlights so I like him too.
JS: Who has been your biggest influence in football and in general life?
CB: Somebody I knew growing up name Greg Bryant, Jr.
JS: Why is he such a big influence for you?
CB: Just the way he played the game and even though he was in high school he took a lot of us younger players under his wing. He attended Notre Dame, but was sadly killed before transferring to UAB in 2016.
JS: If you had to choose a runout song to go onto the field with what would it be?
CB: Anything by NBA Young Boy.
JS: What are you looking forward to the most in your remaining of high school football?
CB: Just enjoying it and enjoy the recruiting part of it!
JS: What is your end goal in life?
CB: Be a successful man in life and make it to where my family doesn’t have to worry about anything.
