Friday afternoon the Cincinnati Bearcats landed their 16th commit of the 2021 class when Lititz, PA native Caleb Schmitz committed. Schmitz is somebody who plays wide receiver, defensive back and outside backer currently and from the way Cincinnati put out the alert, he may have a chance to play multiple positions in Cincinnati. He stands 6’4” and weighs 200 pounds with that frame he can play in a few slots. He chose Cincinnati over AAC for Temple, Air Force, Army and more.

TFON was able to speak with Schmitz and he stated Cincinnati was the place for him because, “great coaches, great locker room environment and I’m from Ohio.” We learned that Schmitz was born in Chicago, IL, but spent some of his childhood in Ohio and visits his family on a yearly basis. Ohio ties helped Cincinnati landed the multitalented athlete.
Congrats to Caleb!
