NM- First off thank you for reaching back very quickly. What position(s) are you being recruited for?
AG- Defensive Back (safety)!
NM- Awesome, have you ever been able to visit campus?
AG- Yes, I have been there a couple times when they were recruiting my brother.
NM- Awesome, what coaches have you been in contact with from the University of Cincinnati?
AG- I have been in contact with coach (Mike) Brown, he’s the one who offered me.
NM- Awesome, what are your thoughts about the campus here at UC? Does anything in particular stand out to you?
AG- I liked it a lot. The whole campus is what really stood out for me it’s great.
NM- Awesome, like to hear that! What have you been doing this offseason to stay in shape and get prepared for your upcoming junior season? I know we are in a tough situation with the pandemic, but what have you been able to do to stay in shape?
AG- I’ve been working out with my brother doing drills and running a lot.
NM- Awesome, good to hear that! What are your plans for the upcoming summer to prepare yourself for your junior season?
AG- My goals are to lift a lot and work on getting stronger and faster.
NM-Awesome, so what kind of player are coaches going to get out of you for this upcoming season and future? What’s something you’re looking forward to about this upcoming season? What are your goals for this season and the rest of your high school career?
AG- Really a leader on and off the field, I lead by example. I’m looking forward to playing the team that beat us for the championship. Some goals I want to accomplish is to gain over 1,000 yards on offense and hopefully be able to get some more pick-six’s.
NM- Awesome, those are some good goals. How would you describe your game personally on the field?
AG- I am very aggressive on defense especially run plays. I’m also very good in coverage.
NM- Awesome, what are your favorite schemes/coverages you like to play on defense? Anything in particular you feel like you excel the most at?
AG- Cover 4 really, That’s where I feel like I excel the most.
NM- Great, have you been in contact with any other recruits from the University of Cincinnati?
AG- No, Not really!
NM- Gotcha, Who are some current or former NFL players you model your game after or compare yourself too?
AG- Xavier Rhodes. I like his game and style he plays with!
