Darrian Beavers, senior
Beavers started 10 games last season and tallied 36 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. The Cincinnati native and UConn transfer will get a chance during his senior season to secure one of the outside linebacker positions, but he will need to be more dynamic as White won’t be the main reserve he will be on the field with Beavers. During his sophomore season he led UConn in sacks, so after a year of getting adjusted to linebacker, I wouldn’t be shocked to see a nice jump from the senior.
