It has been reported that sophomore quarterback Ben Bryant has entered the transfer portal. Bryant has seen action in five of the eight Bearcats game this season. He went 11-of-14 passing for 90 yards and a touchdown, he also ran 65 yards and a touchdown.
2018 3-star QB Ben Bryant has entered the portal as a grad transfer after passing for 553 yards and 2 TD while with #Bearcats @rivalsmike @RivalsWoody @BearcatReport https://t.co/Tua65FbCvx

Bryant leaving leaves the Bearcats with two inexperienced backups, but both have a lot of talent. He started against Memphis last season and played well for a redshirt freshman, showing a lot of potential. He will have at least two years of eligibility left for his next program.
TFON wishes the big armed quarterback much success in his next stop.
Note: Per Justin Williams
As I understand it, Bryant is still with the #Bearcats for the time being and eligible to practice/dress/play while in the portal. (It's a case-by-case decision for each program.)

Meaning if he doesn't transfer before Dec. 19, he could be available for the AAC Championship.
