It was reported by Dan Hoard on the Bearcats pregame radio show against Tennessee that redshirt junior forward/center Mamoudou Diarra will opt out of the rest of the 2020-21 season. Diarra played in the previous three games and was a key part of the rotation. He was averaging 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds. Per his recent new addition to his family, I understand opting out per covid, numbers have been rising a lot lately.

He did not make the trip to Tennessee.
Hopefully we see Diarra back next season! With no Diarra it means Tari Eason and Jeremiah Davenport will be playing power forward moving forward, it also opens up minutes for Viktor Lakhin when he is ready to return.
