University of Cincinnati men’s basketball junior guard David DeJulius was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
DeJulius averaged 9.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists in a 1-1 week for the Bearcats.
The Michigan transfer and Detroit, Michigan, native tallied seven points and a game-high nine rebounds and five assists in UC’s 78-73 win over Furman on Dec. 9 at Fifth Third Arena. He followed by scoring 11 points with seven assists and three steals at No. 12 Tennessee on Saturday.
For the season, DeJulius is averaging 10.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists for the Bearcats.
Entering the week, DeJulius ranks among AAC leaders in assists (second at 5.5), assist-to-turnover ratio (second at 4.4), defensive rebounds (tied for third at 5.5), free throw percentage (tied for fifth at .900) and minutes played (ninth at 31.8).
