First reported by the Enquirer’s Keith Jenkins, the State of Ohio has approved the Bearcats request to have more fans at Nippert Stadium on Saturday night for the AAC Championship Game. The limit has moved from 1,500 to 5,831. Jenkins reports the Bearcats asked for 7,838 which is 24% capacity of Nippert Stadium.
This is a huge win for people who want to see the Bearcats complete in a historic season.

Records show UC requested up to 7,838 spectators (24.1% of capacity, which is higher than the 15% of capacity allowed under the Sports Order).
