AAC Championship Game: J.T.’s defensive game balls for 27-24 win versus Tulsa

The Cincinnati Bearcats “Blackcats” defense did a heck of a job on Saturday night against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. They held Tulsa to 365 total yards, 5-of-14 on third down and 1-of-1 on fourth down. Zach Smith went 13-of-30 passing for 166 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He didn’t even complete 50% of his passes. The “Blackcats” also dropped three interceptions on the night. This unit had three sacks, 5.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions and one forced fumble.

Tulsa did rush for 199 yards led by Corey Taylor II, but it wasn’t enough on Saturday.
