Lost in the mix of Marcus Freeman taking the defensive coordinator/linebacker coach position with Notre Dame, is that running backs coach Dan Enos is the lead candidate for the offensive coordinator job at Maryland. Enos has been at Cincinnati for one season and was a late grab once Doug Phillips took the head coaching job at Youngstown State.

Maryland’s head coach Mike Locksley and Enos were on the same Alabama staff in 2018, Locksley was the offensive coordinator and Enos was the quarterbacks coach.
