Former Cincinnati Bearcats guard Jarron Cumberland was picked 12th in the first round in the G-League draft by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The Vipers are a affiliate of the Houston Rockets (NBA).

Cumberland finished his career seventh in scoring in the programs history with 1,782 points. He also won countless awards in the AAC during his four years with the program.
