It was first reported by Football Scoop and then confirmed by Chad Brendel of BCJ that Darren Paige will be named the Cincinnati Bearcats new running back coach. Dan Enos left to become the offensive coordinator for Maryland after the Peach Bowl and Paige will replace him on the staff.

Sources confirm to @BearcatJournal that Eastern Michigan WR coach Darren Paige will be the next RB coach for Cincinnati. Paige was in town Friday to interview with Luke Fickell. @FootballScoop had it first.

Paige is a Toledo native that spent one year playing at Miami (OH) before transferring to Findlay. He has coached at Eastern Michigan, Stony Brook and Kent State. #Bearcats

The last two years Paige has been the wide receivers coach for Eastern Michigan. He also spent time at Stony Brook, Holy Cross, Midwestern State, Kent State, Gannon and Haines City High School. Paige played at Miami of Ohio and Findley, he also played in the AFL.
