NM- Congratulations on your offer to UC. What position/positions are you being recruited for to play at the next level?
OE- They have told me athlete, but some schools have said receiver and one school has said defensive back.
NM- Awesome very versatile. What coaches have you been in contact with from the University of Cincinnati?
OE- Just defensive back coach Perry Eliano as of right now.
NM- How would you describe your game on the field?
OE- I’d describe myself as really quick, aggressive and smart. I have very good field vision.
NM- Awesome, What’s your favorite type of schemes or styles of play, what do you excel the best in?
OE- On offense I like empty set bandits, 2 by 1, really anywhere that I can get the ball in space.
NM- Awesome! What are some of your goals for your upcoming senior season?
OE- Be the first quarterback here to win Districts. Throw for 3,000 yards and run for 2,500 yards.
NM- Those are some great goals for the season. What have you done so far this offseason to take your game to the next level for your senior year?
OE- I have been going very hard in the weight room and conditioning. I have been getting extra work in after my workouts as well.
NM- What do you think of when you hear Cincinnati football after the season they just had? What stands out the most to you?
OE- I see how much the program is changing in the right direction and how hard they are playing. It’s a great program there.
NM- Awesome have you talked to any recruits or players from the University of Cincinnati at all?
OE- I haven’t, I do know De’Arre McDonald though.
NM- Awesome, have you been able to visit the campus at all? If so, what stands out to you the most about campus?
OE- I haven’t been able to visit yet.
NM- Gotcha, What should people expect from you on the field?
OE- I will Say this don’t hit me hard because a different beast will come out of me.
NM- Awesome! Who are some people you look up to and try to model your game after?
OE- I like Justin Jefferson, Lamar Jackson and Ja’Marr Chase.
NM- What are some things you’re looking to excel at to take your game to the next level?
OE- Just keep working on my routes and timing with my receivers as well as reading the field. Once I get that down I will be unstoppable.
NM- I see you’re from Texas what is it like playing in one if not the power houses of High School Football across the country with the amount of talent that the state produces year in and out?
OE- It’s really fast and physical, but you will adapt to it after one or two games. I just caught on because of my speed which helped me be more successful and you have to go hard in the weight room.
NM- Awesome, that’s all I have for you, I appreciate you taking the time to answer some questions and talk your game and offer with me.
OE- No problem, thank you for taking the time to interview me.
