During Ashley’s time here at the University of Cincinnati she had a lot of positive things to say about her career here. We were able to reach out to Ashley to ask about her time here at the University of Cincinnati and here’s what she had to say.
“Honestly, I just love these girls. The amount of love I have for every single one of them is second to none. Armania Heckenmueller and I have the best setter relationship that I have ever had. We just want to see each other do amazing and I think that’s really rare. I think being a Bearcat is something really special. When I step into the gym I know that every single girl has my back and has my best interest at heart. We are all working towards he same goal and we all are 100% committed. I’m going to miss these girls and just doing every day life with them. They make me a better person, a better teammate and I wish them all the best in the future seasons.”
We asked Ashley, what her favorite memory was here at the University of Cincinnati was and her response is as followed.
“I honestly loved our first road trip this season when we took on Illinois State. We had nine players, and only one technical starter. We just came out super prepared and just played out of our minds. Our coaching staff did a fantastic job preparing us extremely well and the amount of trust was unbelievable. I was just so happy to happy and grateful to play with those girls and I think we put our season off to a great start.”
