Williams is a weak side defensive end from Westfield, Indiana. He is the 436th best player in the country, the 25th best weak side defensive end in the nation, and the 10th best player in Indiana per 247 Sport composite rankings. This would be a very good pickup for the Bearcats.
Williams is a very fast player for a weak side defensive end, which makes it hard for lineman to get their hands on him. The young man is a disruptor when he’s on the field and it’s normally not good for the opposing quarterback.
Williams had some great offers that weren’t in his Top 5 including Alabama, Penn State, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Indiana, Virginia Tech and more. If Williams does end up being added on to this defensive line it would continue the momentum that Fickell and his staff has generated. Hopefully Popeye comes to the 513!
