Today the Bearcats Women’s Basketball team landed a commitment from 6’1″ forward Taziah Jenks. The Louisville, Kentucky native Jenks comes from West Virginia University where she played her freshman season where she recorded 1.4 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. Taziah Jenks was a four star recruit coming out of high school where she attended Mercy Academy in Louisville. Jenks is a versatile forward who can play inside and defend the wing very efficiently. She is a player who has tremendous upside for the Bearcats program as she is known for her shooting skill and the ability to play inside out. Coaches were highly attracted to Jenks due to her skill, size and athleticism. The former West Virginia baller has tremendous length that plays a big role to her game.

The Bearcat family welcomes her with open arms and we are looking to watch her step into some big shoes that are looking to be filled for the Bearcats program as senior Ilmar’I Thomas decided to use her extra year of eligibility as a graduate transfer and take her talents back home to UCLA.
