Cincinnati gets their 11th commit of the 2022 class with three star safety Cincear Lewis. Lewis is a great pickup from Kalamazoo, Michigan Lewis has a big frame for a safety at six-foot-two and weighs 185 pounds, he’s reported to be coming to UC as sniper which is like a safety/outside linebacker combo or hybrid.

Lewis plays safety in high school, but UC sees him as a sniper. Coach Brian Mason has been on him for a while. Reported offers from UK, IU, BC, Syracuse and West Virginia. pic.twitter.com/tMPZTQwjUA
Lewis is ranked 883th in the country, 55th safety in the nation and the 26th best player in Michigan per 247 Sports composite rankings. He chose UC over the likes of Kentucky, Indiana, Boston College, West Virginia, Syracuse and more.
Lewis is a long and physical player, he fits the mode of what the Bearcats are trying to do under Fickell. The pipeline from Michigan to Cincinnati seems to be getting strong by the minute, just see Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, which is a great thing for the program.
Congrats to Cincear and his family!
