WBB: Bearcats go to Egypt for commitment from Logi Samy

Today the Bearcats Woman’s Basketball Program landed their 3rd recruit in the last 48 hours when Logi Samy committed to coach Clark-Heard and the University of Cincinnati. Logi Samy is from Egypt where she plays in the FIBA league. In 2019 she was selected as a Top 5 player in FIBA Africa in the U16 division. Samy is a five-foot-seven point guard who will look to step in immediately and play a role for the Bearcats. She was invited to play for the NBA Africa Girls Academy where she had a lot of success that led to her being chosen as one of the top players across the continent for the NBA Global Academy for the girls. This led to many teams drawing interest for Samy before she announced she will be playing her next level of basketball in Clifton for the Bearcats.

The Bearcats will welcome Logi Samy to Clifton with open arms. Coach Clark-Heard continues to add to her team as she lands her 3rd commitment in three days with Samy and Emerita Mashaire both coming to the University of Cincinnati with a lot of experience from playing overseas.
