The Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday announced that they signed former Bearcat legend Gary Clark to a two-way deal. Clark has established himself in the NBA the last couple of years playing for the Rockets, Nuggets, and Magic. The Bearcats legend has played in 37 games this season with Orlando and Denver, including 18 minutes per game in 35 games with the Magic. Clark has always been seen as a problem and will look to provide some great minutes down the stretch of the season and into the playoffs. The 76ers have major star power in Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons on top of young talent that will look to carry that team far into the playoffs. Clark will look to provide some much-needed depth for the team and a great defensive outlook to a team that has done exceptional in not allowing points.
He averaged 3.2 points a game with 3.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists a game coming off the bench for this season. He will hopefully find his way to some playoff minutes and make his Bearcat fans proud.
