Today former Bearcat running back Michael Warren signed with the Detroit Lions. Warren was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2020, where he spent most the offseason preparing to make the Eagles final roster. Although Warren was cut by the Eagles before the start of the 2020 season he then bounced around as he was a member of the Eagles, Panthers, and the Washington Football Team. Michael Warren will be reconnecting with his former coach Duce Staley who is now the assistant head coach/running back coach for the Lions. The Bearcats legend known as “The Truck” will look to join a strong backfield of DeAndre Swift, Jamaal Williams in Detroit. Congratulations to Michael for inking a deal with the Detroit Lions.
