JS: First and foremost congratulations on the offer from Cincinnati! Describe how you felt when you first received the offer!
AS: Good, it was during camp and the rest of camp I felt good and happy.
JS: That’s great what is it like for you to actually get back to a normal swing of things and talk to coaches and staff in person?
AS: I love it you can see how coaches are like coach Perry (Eliano) the cornerback coach coached me like I was already at Cincinnati.
JS: Cincinnati is known as DB university around College Football from big-time CB’s in Ahmad Gardner, Arquon Bush and Coby Bryant what would it mean for you to play in those guys football and continue to help Cincinnati up the ranks in college football?
AS: It means a lot like I really try to model game after Sauce’s and be like him or better.
JS: Nice! What can coaches expect from you when you are on the field?
AS: I will go 110% every snap and be coachable.
JS: What are you looking to improve on this year before heading to the next level?
AS: Just getting faster!
JS: What made you want to play football and what does it mean to you to play football at such a high level?
AS: My dad for real, I saw some pictures and was like I wanna play this and be better than my dad, It means a lot I’m going give any program I pick 110% effort.
JS: You spoke earlier about working with coach Perry (Eliano) today was that the only coach you spoke to and how was your relationship with him the first time?
AS: Good, he made me feel like one of his and I talked to pretty much the whole staff there.
JS: Last question do you plan on coming back to campus any time soon before the football season begins?
AS: Most definitely!
We want to thank Amare for his time and we look forward to watching you ball out! We wish you luck on the upcoming season and can’t wait to what’s in store!
