Last week Bearcats junior linebacker Ty Van Fossen partnered with Yee Yee Apparel. Van Fossen is a six-foot-two, 220 pound linebacker out of Croton, Ohio where he attended St. Francis De Sales High School. Yee Yee Apparel is a outdoor clothing company that was co-founded by country music star Granger Smith. Van Fossen joins teammate Cam Jones as members of the Yee Yee Athletic team ahead of the new NIL bill.
Van Fossen is looking to come into the 2021 season and make an immediate impact, as the Bearcats lost four year starter Jarell White to the CFL. Van Fossen stepped in at times when White was out and he didn’t miss a beat at all. Van Fossen played in all 10 games in 2020 where he recorded 28 tackles in 2020 with 19 of those being solo tackles as well as two sacks on the season for the Bearcats. Van Fossen also has played a key role for the Bearcats on special teams and has done a fantastic job for the Bearcats since coming to Clifton in 2019. Van Fossen is looking to make a big impact in 2021 along with the very talented group of linebackers the Bearcats have on defense and will be looking to help contribute to this very special Bearcats defense.
The Front Office News staff would like to congratulate Ty Van Fossen on becoming a Yee Yee Apparel team member as he is looking to capitalize on a very popular clothing brand as part of the new NIL bill.
