Are the Bearcats in a position of power with possible realignment looming?

2. The Big Ten offers an invite-

Out of all four outcomes this makes the most sense, but we all know Ohio State is the big dog in the Big Ten and less than likely won’t sign off on this. Geographically it makes the most sense, but I think this conference would be the hardest for both programs to come in and dominate. They would be a strong second tier team starting off on the football side and solid on the basketball side. Getting that yearly pay day and getting legit home and home’s with Ohio State would be great for views wouldn’t it? Imagine UC/Michigan State, hahaha. A brotha’ can dream can’t he?

1. The ACC offers an invite-

Of the four moves that can happen in realignment I really hope that the brass can pull this off. They would renew rivalries with Pitt and Louisville, get to play North Carolina and Duke and honestly they would come into the conference the clear cut second best team behind Clemson. ACC is super stable, now the basketball team would see a super uptick in recruiting, but would get beat up some during the process. Tickets would be tough to come by for all major sports. Imagine UC on the ACC Network? Hmmm, the possibilities.

All I know is Cincinnati is a way better position this time around, the AAC as a whole is a more known commodity and if anything shakes out they have to look attractive to everybody with the strength of their football team, we all know football is king when moves are being made. Don’t forget Cincinnati is a good sized media market as well.

Which option or options do you see as the best fit for Cincinnati?
