The Bearcats on Tuesday received some good news involving the recruiting side of things as the class of 2022 offensive tackle Jonathan Harder announced his commitment to the Cincinnati Bearcats. Harder is an Ohio native originally from Delaware, OH. Harder attends school at Olentangy Berlin High School. The Bearcats picked up their second offensive tackle recruit of the ’22 class as Harder joins Ethan Green as the beginning of a brand new Cincinnati offensive line. Harder impressed a lot of people at his unofficial visit in June and really caught the eye of offensive line coach Ron Crook. Harder stands 6-foot-6, weighs 285 pounds and brings a lot of toughness to the Cincinnati trenches. Harder had received offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Toledo and Youngstown State. Harder is ranked as the 41st best player in Ohio and 134th best offensive tackle in the nation per 247 Sports. The Bearcats keep adding to the future and Harder will definitely be a prized piece on the O-Line for the Bearcats.
