The NBA Summer League is beginning soon and teams are starting to announce their rosters. This league is a chance for young players to stand out and fight for a roster spot on the actual NBA team in the fall. The Cleveland Cavaliers announced there’s on Tuesday which had former Bearcat star, Tre Scott on it. Scott was an amazing player for the Bearcats and made huge strides his senior year to fully establish himself as a professional player. He averaged 11.4 points his senior year and looked much more confident throughout the year than he ever had before. Tre Scott was a part of the class with the Cumberland cousins and together all three of them and Keith Williams helped UC make a magical run in former Coach John Brannen’s first year. Last year Tre Scott played for Salt Lake City where he averaged 10.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting at a 44% clip. Hopefully, Tre Scott kills it in the Summer League and can earn the opportunity to play in the NBA.
