Today the Bearcats got some great news as junior offensive tackle James Tunstall a transfer from Stony Brook University received his waiver and is now immediately eligible for the 2021 season. This is massive news for the offensive line and Tunstall is really starting to stand out in camp. The 6-foot-5 and 310 pound lineman from Indian Head, Maryland brings a lot of things to the table for that offensive line. The Bearcats lost James Hudson and Darius Harper to the NFL, so getting a guy with Tunstall’s ability to be immediately eligible is great news. This has been a guy impressing a lot of people early at camp and is looking to compete for a starting spot come September 4th when the Bearcats kick off their season when they take on rival Miami (OH).
