Today the Bearcats received a commitment from tight end Danny Lewis, Jr. Lewis is from New Iberia, Louisiana where he attends Westlake High School. He is a three star prospect in the 2022 class according to 247 Sports. The member of the 2022 class had offers from Indiana, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State and more. Coach Perry Eliano played the leading recruiter for the 6-foot-5 tight end. Lewis is rated the 52nd tight end in the nation, as well as the 42nd player in the state of Louisiana. This is a great get for the Bearcats as the tight end room is special in Clifton with guys like Josh Whyle, Leonard Taylor who are veterans in the tight end room. Lewis is looking to come in and follow in the previous/current tight end footsteps. Making the 19th coming for the 2022 class, today this group got even better.
I am thankful to announce that I will be committed to play football at the University of Cincinnati. I want to thank all the coaches that recruited me hard and gave me a chance.#gobearcats⚫️🔴 @PatLambert13 @samspiegs @CoachFick @JeritRoser @MikeDenbrock @Coach_Eliano pic.twitter.com/PHChJn9YE9
