His teammate Desmond Ridder earned AAC Offensive Player of the Week and cornerback Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner earned American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his play on Saturday. Gardner had two tackles, a pass breakup and an interception against No . 9 Notre Dame. He was only throw at three times, one was an interception, the other was broken up and the other was complete as well.
