On Saturday then No. 7 Cincinnati Bearcats went up to South Bend, Indiana to knock off No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and a major reason was the play of quarterback Desmond Ridder. Ridder was honored by the American Athletic Conference for is play on Saturday. He earned the AAC Offensive Player of the Week for his 19-of-32 passing for 297 yards and two touchdown, he also had 26 yards rushing and a touchdown. The senior went for 323 total yards and three touchdowns on the road against a Top 10 opponent.
