JS: How was your visit to the University of Cincinnati?
TC: It was a great opportunity and I got to see what the game day atmosphere was like. Everyone was very nice and it was like a family environment.
JS: What coaches on Cincinnati’s staff were you able to talk before and during the visit?
TC: As soon as I arrived, I was able to speak to Max Stienecker (recruiting). Before the game I got to speak to offensive line coach Ron Crook and coach (Nate) Letton (graduate assistant). After the game, coach (Luke) Fickell (head coach) talked to the group of recruits and I got to meet him for a second.
JS: What can a coaching staff expect out of you on the field and off the field?
TC: Coaches can expect my willingness to be coached, extremely strong work ethic, humbleness, patience and my never stop working to get better approach. Off the field they can expect I live my life through my faith and very dedicated to FCA. They can also expect that I will handle my business in the classroom, represent the school with integrity and pride off and on the field.
JS: Why did you choose to play football?
TC: I have played football since I was 6 years old. I choose to play because of my love for the game. I have always loved being part of a team and the bond that is built with my brothers.
JS: Do you have a favorite moment playing football and why was that moment your favorite?
TC: My favorite moment was when we played Madison Southern this year and my teammates joined me with prayer right before the game in the end zone. Usually I would do it alone.
JS: Do you plan on visiting the University of Cincinnati again in the future?
TC: I would really like to attend another game. The atmosphere was amazing and the fans were crazy, but also very welcoming.
