Today, senior quarterback Desmond Ridder was named a Maxwell Award Semifinalist. In eight games, Ridder is 143-of-225 passing for 1,847 yards, 18 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also has 55 rushes for 181 yards and three touchdowns. On the season he has 21 total touchdowns and 2,028 total yards. He is one of 15 semifinalist and one of two from the AAC.
