The Cincinnati Bearcats got back on the winning side of things behind a career high night by sophomore guard Jillian Hayes. Hayes had 23 points on 9-of-15 from the field. Akira Levy had a nice night as well finishing with 19 points and seven assists.
Cincinnati shot 43% from the field and held Central Michigan to 35% from the field.
Behind Hayes and Levy the Bearcats pulled off a 59-54 win at Fifth Third Arena and are now 4-3 overall. Their next game is Sunday at 2 pm at Fifth Third Arena against Ole Miss.
