WBB: 2022 Bearcats signee A’riel Jackson named to McDonald’s All American Nominee List

University of Cincinnati women’s basketball 2022 signee A’riel Jackson was named to the McDonald’s All American East nominees list.

On Wednesday, the McDonald’s All American Game announced its list of 760 nominees that have a shot at starring in the 45th anniversary McDonald’s All American Games happening in March. The list includes high school seniors from 503 schools in 41 states, including the District of Columbia.


Players were nominated by either a high school coach, athletic director, principal or member of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee. This year’s nominees represent 41 states and the District of Columbia, while Texas received the most nominations with 83, followed by California and Florida tied at 73, and Maryland with 44. The game will be held Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 in the Chicago Sky’s home Wintrust Arena, with the top 24 nominees selected for the roster.

Jackson signed with the Bearcats for the upcoming 2022 season on Nov. 10, 2021. The Brooklyn, New York native ranks as the No. 108 nationally and #93 as a freshman recruit ranking in the 2022 class by All Star Girls Report (ASGR) and ranks #79 nationally, #16 SG by the Preferred Athlete Scouting Service (PASS).
