Bearcats are expected to hire Walter Stewart as new OLB/Sniper coach

Cincinnati reached back into the past to hire former player Walter Stewart. Stewart played for the Bearcats from 2009-2012. He was most recently the defensive line coach for Temple and was rumored to be going to Arkansas State before he came to Cincinnati. He will be the the new outside linebacker/sniper coach in Clifton.

Chad Brendel of BCJ had the information first followed by Pete Thamel and Justin Williams.

The #Bearcats are hiring Walt Stewart as outside linebackers/snipers coach, sources confirmed to @TheAthleticCFB.

Stewart was a standout DL at Cincinnati from 2009-2012, has coached at Tenn, NIU & Temple. He was hired as DL coach at Ark St under Butch Jones earlier this month.
